Foreword

As I sit to pen this foreword, a whirlwind of emotions engulfs me. As the President of the International Islamic University Alumni Association, and more so as a humble member of this incredible community, the journey of our beloved institution over these 40 radiant years brings forth feelings of overwhelming pride, gratitude, and deep-rooted kinship.
Our International Islamic University has never been mere walls and corridors. It has been the heartbeat of countless souls who walked its pathways, seeking knowledge, wisdom, and camaraderie. Together, we’ve laughed in its halls, prayed in its corners, and dreamt of futures that we now live. We’ve grown not just in academic prowess but also in the warmth of friendships, the depth of spirituality, and the fortitude of character.

The 40th Anniversary Symposium is so much more than an event. It’s an embrace of memories, a testament to our resilience, and a promise to the future. In every discussion, every shared anecdote, every reminiscent laughter, you’ll feel the heartbeats of generations that have called this university their home. Together, as one family, we have scribed a legacy filled with achievements, challenges overcome, and countless milestones.
Yet, as we gather here, our journey is not just to glance back but to look forward with hope, ambition, and passion. To dream of the legacy we will continue to craft, knowing that every effort we have faced, and every success celebrated have been steps toward creating an institution that stands not just for education, but for unity, love, and faith.
To everyone who has played a part in making this symposium come alive, your dedication echoes the very spirit of our university. As we step into this symposium, let’s do so with hearts full and spirits high. Together, we are not only celebrating a past rich with memories but also pledging to a future teeming with possibilities, dreams, and an even greater legacy.
May Allah SWT always be our guiding light, weaving our stories with threads of His infinite blessings, grace, and love.
